ASSOCIATION'S CODE OF ETHICS

Members of the Association know and recognize that one of the major factors contributing to the economic health and stability of any nation is adequacy of its transportation system.

We believe this system should be designed to provide for the anticipated maximum needs of the future and should be constructed with exacting standards at the most economical cost to the tax payer or private owner.

We further believe this can be accomplished only by competition, the application of proven engineering facts and full economic considerations.

To achieve these goals, we subscribe to the following principles and policies:

Our chief responsibility is to our country, our community, and our customers.

Honesty is our guiding business policy.

High standards of design, inspection, and construction are a prerequisite to long life, safety, and satisfactory performance.

We build these qualities into asphalt pavements insofar as engineering design and inspection will permit.

Members shall deal fairly with their respective employees, subcontractors, and suppliers.
